Support Line is the 24/7 Psychiatric Emergency Service which provides Psychiatric evaluations to the nine HCA/HealthOne Emergency Departments and medical units. In 2011, The Support Line conducted over 6,300 psychiatric evaluations for patients identified as suicidal, homicidal, or gravely disabled. In addition, the group evaluates patients with addiction problems. Many of these patients are first treated by Paramedics and EMTS. Join Keith Krull, Manager of Support Line as he discusses behavioral health issues, case studies, and helpful information for prehospital providers.
